Dugbe Market

Dugbe Market is the bustling commercial heart of Ibadan, Nigeria, located in the central business district near the historic Cocoa House. Established around 1919, it evolved into a massive trading hub driven by its proximity to the local railway station. Today, it is widely celebrated as a premier destination for affordable thrift clothing ("Okrika"), electronics, fabrics, and household goods. The market offers a high-energy atmosphere defined by heavy foot traffic, competitive bargaining, and a lively mix of traditional street vendors operating alongside modern corporate banks and shopping malls.
